Amber is my daughter, and she’s always been an outgoing, positive person. Even after everything she’s been through—and everything she still faces to get back to herself—she does it with a smile. Recently, Amber was hospitalized for three months after cellulitis turned septic. She underwent dialysis for six weeks, and her long hospital stay has left her needing to recondition her body for mobility. Today was a setback as she was taken back to the hospital for an infection.

Now that Amber is home, she needs extra support to regain her strength and independence. I’m raising funds to help purchase a wheelchair ramp and a remote recliner, which will make her home more accessible and comfortable as she recovers. These items will help Amber move around safely and rest as she works toward getting back to her vibrant self.
