Help Amber Overcome Her Medical Challenges
Donation protected
Hi everyone! I wanted to present a situation that has been difficult for our community of friends. You all probably know about my twin Gemi-dragon. Lots of pictures of us. She has been going through some difficult life changing experiences recently.
Amber means everything to me. Our connection is relatable and beyond relatable equally. The connection we have goes beyond boundaries. If I could, and had the money to do it, I’d make her life so much easier. Unfortunately, can’t do that with a teachers income.
She was diagnosed with estrogen and progesterone positive breast cancer in March. Had a lumpectomy and reduction, following up with either (possibly) a double mastectomy or radiation.
She has been Sent to 9 different doctors, multiple blood tests, and mri. All co pay required. Was told surgery date two weeks before the day.
During the mri visit, a spot has been detected on her liver, which will be getting checked out after her breasts heal in three months.
Oregon medical leave allows no more than 30 day before leave date for application submission. First application was deleted due to passed submission timeframe. Had to start all over again. And takes 30 days to approve.
UNUM Short term disability still wants her to submit more info and the three times she has called them, they say she doesn’t need to do anything else.
She has been off work since the beginning of May due to pre op appointments.
And this summer her landlord is selling the house she has been renting.
This woman is amazing and has been left in a shit situation. Even a dollar can add up. She means the world to me and I just hope there are thoughtful people out there willing to throw a bone for an amazing courageous woman. It takes a community!
if you ever meet Amber, your life would be changed…just like she changed mine. Anything helps. ❤️❤️❤️
