Hi everyone,

My name is Amber, and I’m asking for help during one of the most overwhelming chapters of my life. On August 29th, 2025, I was diagnosed with Stage 1B invasive ductal carcinoma. In that moment, everything changed — my health, my stability, and the life I was working so hard to hold together.

I am a mother of two adult children, including an autistic son who depends on me deeply. I’ve always been the one to push through, to be strong, to hold it all together for my family no matter how hard things got. But this time… I can’t do it alone.

I’ve been through a lot, including losing both of my parents and navigating life without their direction and support during trying times of my life. And now, as I’m fighting cancer, I have also lost my job because my illness makes it impossible to work the way I used to. To be transparent: bills are piling up, and I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat.

While I do have health insurance, it doesn’t cover the many expenses that come with this diagnosis. The funds raised will help with:

• Out-of-pocket medical bills, copays, and treatment costs

• Travel and lodging for appointments

• Basic living expenses

• Lost wages during treatment and recovery

I, like most people, hate to be in a position where I’d need to ask for help like this. But this journey is not one that I can walk alone. I need help. I need support.
