Help Amber Heal Without Worry

Hello ~we are asking for help so Amber can heal and not have worries during her recovery. Monday 7/29/2024 she went in for what was a planned relatively simple procedure of a hernia repair and panniculectomy and would be coming home the following day. Hours after the surgery was done her pain increased substantially, her blood pressure plummeted, she became very weak, her color was gray, her kidneys were failing and she was fading fast. She cried out to Jesus and God for help, a team of Doctors worked on her for hours. She began receiving blood transfusions and her body did not respond to the blood. She had a CT Angiogram finding internal bleeding and a softball size hematoma on her left lower side. She was rushed into emergency surgery to evacuate the clot, stop the bleeding and stabilize her. After several days her numbers have improved and she has received 6 blood transfusions. She is off oxygen now. She has an incision from hip to hip with 4 drains that require 24/7 care. We are asking for help so she can rest and recuperate before having to rush back to work. Amber has worked the last 5 years at the VA Hospital caring for our Nation's Veterans and before that she dedicated 21 years working in the medical field at a rural hospital and now it's our time to take care of her.
