Help Amber Get To UCLA This Summer

Hi, my name is Amber Rodriguez and I'm a junior at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. At my school, I'm provided with wonderful opportunities to take a variety of arts classes including Film and Television Production. Since my freshman year, I've been intrigued by the art of filmmaking and the way stories on the big screen can impact people. Now, more experienced in the art, I've been accepted into the UCLA digital summer filmmaking institute. By going, I would be gaining the proper knowledge to further advance in my craft. Going to such an acclaimed program would allow me to fully dive into my passion and gain a feel for college life. While at this program, I will be staying in college dorms and attending classes all day long. Taught by some of the best teachers in the industry, I will fulfill my dream.
