Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of one of my best friends, Amber Burkhalter. Recently, Amber went to the ER with severe abdominal pain, and during her visit, doctors discovered a 5.7mm nodule on her right lung. She now urgently needs a lung biopsy to rule out malignancy but there’s a major roadblock.

Amber currently has no medical insurance and is having to pay out of pocket for everything. Her biopsy can’t even be scheduled until payment is made. As you can imagine, this adds a huge financial burden to an already frightening and emotional situation.

If you truly know Amber, you know she has a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation. She’s always been the one to show up for others…..now it’s our turn to show up for her.

Even though she was hesitant to ask for help, I’m starting this GoFundMe in hopes of easing some of her financial stress and making sure she can get the care she needs, when she needs it. Every dollar counts, and all donations will go directly toward Amber’s medical expenses.
