Help Amber get life changing back surgery

Hi! My name is Amber. I am fundraising to help alleviate the costs associated with having 3 artificial disk replacements in my lumbar spine due to degenerative disc disease. Most of you that know me, know I am a very active person who loves life and adventures.
This summer my back pain took a turn for the worse. The pain has become constant and even just daily mundane tasks have become challenging. The pain has taken away the ability to do the things I love and has led me down a pretty dark road. I have seen specialists and doctors here for treatments such as physiotherapy, cortisone injections and expensive decompression and laser therapy that provided no relief of my symptoms. I was told unfortunately there was not much they could do to treat me. I have researched into surgeries that are provided in Canada such as spinal fusions. These surgeries may alleviate the pain but leave you with no range of motion and could lead to more complications down the road.
By chance this summer I met someone who's friend had been in the same situation as me that had went to Germany for surgery. I soon had a conversation with this person (who is now the Canadian liaison for ONZ) which then led to me sending my MRI results to the doctors at ONZspine.com in Germany. My treatment plan is to have a 3 level artificial lumbar disc replacement. These disc replacements are state-of -the -art disc that allows the joint in the spine once again to move in all 6 degrees of motion mimicking a healthy flesh disc. Without this surgery there could be further compression and result in irreversible neurological deficits. With this surgery the goal is to return to a fully active life style. The testimonies from people all over the world who have had these treatments speak for themselves.
My surgery date is February 17. I will be leaving for Germany February 14th and remain there for 2 weeks, 1 week in hospital after the surgery. Then on to their rehabilitation center. There is no coverage for out of country life altering procedures such as this and the cost is substantial but to me worth it to be able to live without pain and resume a healthy active life style. The cost of this surgery and rehabilitation cost 43,500.00 euros. That is approximately 62,326.00 CAD. Then flights are another 3000.00. So I am putting this out there to kindly ask if anyone could help me to raise money to put towards paying for this life changing surgery. Asking for help is not something that comes easily for me. So thank you from the bottom of my heart if you decide to support me and even if you took the time to read this. Maybe my story can help someone you know who needs help because of back pain.
May you all have a safe and healthy 2022
