Help Amber continue to grow her dream- CAKEABLE
Hi! My name is Amber and I am the owner of CAKEABLE in Northern Colorado.
I have been a stay at home mom since 2013 and just last year I took the leap into entrepreneurship and launched a custom cake business from my home. I have had so much fun meeting people in my community and even participated in a local baking competition earlier this year. I have gotten involved in Cake 4 Kids, an AMAZING non-profit that recruits volunteer bakers to bake cakes for underprivileged youths in the community.
2020 was a weird year to start a business- especially one that thrives on parties and large gatherings. But, I had plenty of time at home to fine tune my craft and I truly feel the timing was perfect.
Fast forward to 2021 and people are beyond ready to PARTY! So, I jumped right into the wedding industry and have booked a number of weddings already!
I am so incredibly grateful for the support from both local friends, and friends and family across the country. Business keeps growing and I am getting more involved in my community as a result.
This venture has turned into something so much more than a creative outlet for me. It has brought me out of my shell of self-doubt, it has made me more confident than I could have imagined.
But with growth comes more needs to keep up with demand. I am hoping to raise money to get more equipment and supplies for my business to continue to GROW! The demand is there (especially this wedding season), and while I am slowly building my business funds, some big ticket items would REALLY make these large orders more efficient.
Some things I am hoping to add to my arsenal are:
1. (at least) one more stand mixer!
2. Cake Safe (for deliveries in the mountains!)
3. Coolers
4. Signage for my porch pick-up
5. Wholesale ingredients, packaging, etc
6. Wholesale branded merchandise
This is just the beginning- one day I hope to build up enough business to move out of my (all too teeny-tiny) kitchen and into a CAKE STUDIO. There I plan to host classes, parties and tastings for my wedding clients.
This dream is so real I can feel it. It’s just waiting for me to catch up. ✌❤️
