Hi as many of you know my daughter Amber was diagnosed with stage 2 hodgekins lymphoma last year. She has undergone many extensive treatments but found out after Christmas she is still not in remission. She received more chemotherapy, but to no avail. She will now have to go through immunotherapy, pet scans and stem cell transplant. As of now she is unable to work (under doctors orders). This is heartbreaking for her because she was so eager to get back and see the wonderful children and coworkers that she works with. It may not be until end of the year before she can get a new update on her status for work. The sickness benefit that kept her on her feet ran out this past November. Donations and support from family and friends has gotten her through these few months but with no source of income, it is becoming more of a struggle for her. Amber’s insurance is expected run out in May, so it would be in her best interest to set up a way to help her out with having several trips a week for treatments, to help pay for medications and all the other every day expenses.
