Hi there! If you don't know me, I'm Amber.
I’m an occupational therapy student nearing the final stretch of my program, and I’m raising funds to attend the AOTA Conference in April 2026 in Anaheim, California. This conference is a huge milestone in my OT journey and an incredible opportunity for both professional and personal growth.
I’ll be attending to support close friends and peers who are presenting their occupational therapy research, something that means a great deal to me as we’ve supported one another throughout school. I’ll also be participating in valuable trainings and educational sessions that will help me expand my knowledge base, stay current with best practices, and better prepare me for my future career as an OT.
The AOTA conference is also a powerful space to reconnect with peers, meet practicing clinicians, and network for future career opportunities as I transition from student to professional. Being surrounded by others who share the same passion for OT is motivating and affirming, and I’ll be traveling with friends who truly understand the value and impact of this profession.
In addition to the conference, this trip is a meaningful way to celebrate wrapping up my last few weeks of school. We plan to spend a day at Disneyland as a small celebration of years of hard work, dedication, and growth before beginning the next chapter of our careers.
Any support helps make this opportunity possible, and I’m so grateful for your encouragement as I continue working toward becoming an occupational therapist. Thank you for being part of my journey!
