Hi, my name is Melissa and I am a friend of Amber David, her sister Ashley Sampont and family. I am creating this GoFundMe to support Amber, Ashley and their family during this incredibly difficult time following the unexpected passing of their father David E. David on Wednesday, October 22.

David was a truly special person. He was an avid golfer, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, warm spirit. His absence is already felt by all who knew and loved him.

The loss has been devastating, and the family was not prepared for the financial burden of cremation costs. We want to give their dad, the dignified farewell, he deserves, without adding financial stress to a family that is already grieving.

The funds raise will go directly to Amber and her family to cover the cost of cremation and help with travel expenses to get Amber back to Washington so she could be with family. Any contribution, no matter the size will make a meaningful difference and allow the family to focus on healing during this painful time.
