At Amazing Strays Rescue, we believe in the inherent value of every animal, person, and community. For nearly six years, we've been on a mission to make a difference in the lives of pets who need it most. With your support, we've already rescued 2,000 animals from neglect and abuse, providing them with the love, care, and second chances they deserve.

Our work knows no bounds. From San Diego to the streets of Mexico, and all our border region, we've been there for animals in need, offering medical care, shelter, and hope. Special cases like Tortito and Layla remind us of the transformative power of compassion, as they've found forever homes where they are cherished for who they are.

But our mission doesn't stop there. As the needs of our communities evolve, so do we. Recently, we've shifted our focus closer to home, stepping in to prevent unnecessary euthanasia and overcrowding in local shelters. Since late 2023, we've rescued over 40 animals from the Bakersfield City Shelter, including Rose and her puppies, who faced euthanasia simply due to lack of space.
