Help Amaya Access Life-Changing Therapies

It’s truly amazing to reflect on how far Amaya has come since she was a baby. She used to be scared and unsure of all the poking and prodding that came with her medical appointments, but now she’s a little girl who understands that everything we do is to help her. She is learning to navigate the world in her own way.

Watching Amaya grow over the past year has been remarkable. She has shown us the incredible power of hard work and determination. Despite the challenges she faces with cerebral palsy, she has achieved so much and continues to push herself to new heights. Her strength, intelligence, and resilience inspire us every day.

Amaya is constantly changing, exploring, and problem-solving, proving that she is capable of achieving anything she sets her mind to. Her limitless potential reminds us that with the right support and opportunities, she can overcome any obstacle and reach her full potential. We are confident that she will achieve vital milestones in the near future.

As we prepare for another developmental assessment, we hope to gain a clearer understanding of the level and type of cerebral palsy she has been diagnosed with. We are also seeking additional support from the hospital, including equipment to assist her with walking. However, we know this process may take time, and we are ready to wait and advocate for what she needs.

This year, we are eager to explore new and innovative therapies that can help Amaya reach her full potential. We hope to enroll her in intensive DMI therapy, which has shown incredible promise in helping children with cerebral palsy. Additionally, we have discovered other therapies that we believe will benefit her, and we are excited to integrate them into her routine, while continuing with the therapies available to us locally.

However, these therapies come at a significant cost, which is why we are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for support. We are asking for $42,000 to help cover the expenses of therapies, equipment, and treatments over the next year. This will be a crucial year for Amaya’s development, and we believe that with the right support, she can make tremendous progress.
