Dear Family and Friends,

As-Salamu Alaykum.

I am writing to you today to let you know about the tragic loss of 38 year old Mohammad Amar Shahzad. Amar was a contractor for AAA and on October 28, 2021, he was ran over and killed while helping a stranded motorist on the side of the highway. The driver of the other vehicle, illegally crossed over the lines onto the shoulder and hit Amar, who died on the spot.

Amar lived in Ellicott City and was a wonderful father, husband, son, brother and friend, who touched the lives of all those around him. He leaves behind a wife and 3 beautiful children, ages of 12, 8, and 2. Amar dedicated his life to helping others.

We are all devastated by Amar’s loss and were not at all prepared for this tragedy. At this time, we are trying to help Amar’s family with funeral costs and expenses. We need your help. All donations will be going to directly to Amar's family. As you can imagine, they are currently struggling as he was the sole provider for the family. Your donations would mean the world to them. If you cannot donate at this time, please pray for Amar’s forgiveness and may Allah accept him into Jannah. Ameen .
