Help Amaroo Wildlife Shelter

I’m Jacqui, from Melbourne, Victoria, a volunteer  and committee member for Amaroo Wildlife Shelter. I‘m raising funds to help Nikky help more animals in need. Nikky is the founder and sole wildlife carer at Amaroo Wildlife Shelter.

Amaroo Wildlife Shelter is a volunteer run not-for-profit wildlife shelter in Victoria, Australia. Dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating sick, injured and orphaned Australian native wildlife. 

Amaroo Wildlife Shelter is a volunteer based organisation which relies solely on donations to help the animals they rescue and nurture back to health. 


During the current devastating events of the bushfires raging in Australia, small volunteer run wildlife shelters need help with funds more than ever.

In time once the fire grounds are deemed safe, volunteer wildlife rescue teams will begin to go out and look for survivors. Triage centres will be set up and carers will do their best to save as many lives as possible.  

All funds raised will be withdrawn in my name and used directly to help the animals in care all year round. By purchasing food, cleaning supplies, supplements, medications and building supplies like temporary fencing to build much needed animal enclosures as the number of animals in care grows during the Australian bushfire disaster. Goods will be purchased by me and delivered to be used at the shelter. Left over funds after the above purchases will be transferred into Amaroo’s shelter bank account directly by me.
