Amarisa is a former student of ours, and she has always held a special place in our hearts. She faces daily challenges due to her history of seizures, and her family is constantly searching for ways to keep her safe and improve her quality of life. Recently, we learned that a, uniquely trained, seizure service dog could help detect Amarisa’s seizures before they begin, offering her more independence and peace of mind for her family. Amarisa desires to have that independence and a seizure detecting companion would greatly enhance her ability to navigate her daily life with confidence and freedom.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward the cost of acquiring a seizure service dog and providing the necessary training for him or her. This support will not only help Amarisa manage her seizures but also address her other special needs, giving her a better chance to thrive. Her parents, Lisa and Amador, are incredibly generous members of our community, always giving their time and energy to help others. Now, they need our help.
