Hi, my name is Amari Lewis. I am a Wildlife Conservation/Natural Science major at Michigan State University. I am involved in several extracurricular activities, such as ROTC and Silent Command (clinician). In addition, I am a cadet in the Michigan National Guard. This year, I received the honor once again of being chosen to serve as a drum major for the upcoming 2025 season of the Sacramento Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps. As the first African American female drum major for this corps, I hope to continue to use this platform to inspire and encourage other people of different cultures and backgrounds to explore what DCI has to offer. Marching band and music have always been a huge part of my growth and development in all aspects of my life. As you know, every activity requires money to function efficiently. I truly believe that the Mandarins are advocating for a brighter future for anyone willing to embrace the challenge. I am excited to continue working with these wonderful leaders and staff once again. Your monetary support, at any capacity, is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time.
