Hi, my name is Rebeka and I’m a huge lover of cats! i was taking a walk in my neighborhood to feed some kitties and i met Amara who came up to me immediately and i put out some food for her but she refused to eat and was more interested in me than the food despite being the smallest and skinniest cat in the group i found her in. i realized after i spent some time with her that she is severely sick and she’s not doing so well so i brought her in and tried my best to get her to eat. she didn’t go to the bathroom at all for the two of the first days of me having her and i was waiting to get an appointment at the vet. i got her tested for a range of things that she could have because i do have other cats and she tested negative for everything and i had her treated for respiratory illness. i previously thought she had jaw issues because her tongue sticks out but she has stomatitis which is not something they can treat her for unfortunately and i was told it would be about 4,500 if she does need all her teeth pulled. i also want to be able to get her fixed and vaccines so she can live a long happy and healthy life. i would pay for it on my own if i could but i am dealing with a lot of my own problems. if we don’t need the target amount when i go to her next appointment i will see if i can close out. anything is greatly appreciated from one cat lover to another, thank you so much!
