Help Amanda's Family Through This Tragic Loss

My heart is breaking as I write this request; my darling, irreplaceable son-in-law, Myles, is in hospice. By the time this is published, he will be gone from us. Myles was diagnosed with small bowel cancer six months ago. He was given a prognosis of two years, but here we are, six months in. He has suffered unimaginable pain throughout these short months, and yet still tried to push on and go to work every day, until he physically was unable.
Myles came into our lives ten years ago, when he married my oldest daughter Amanda. She was a single mom, raising four children on her own, and helping them deal with the abandonment from their father. Myles stepped in and, through love and persistence, healed them and showed them the love of a selfless father. In addition to the four children he took as his own, he and Amanda share a nine-year-old son. I cannot say enough about the love and care this man showered on my daughter and grandchildren. He is a tireless worker and a devoted family man. Truly, to know him is to love him. My teen grandson just recently honored the love he received from Myles by formally taking his last name!
As most of us know, cancer strikes suddenly, and usually when you are most unprepared. Myles was the sole financial support for the family ever since the school shooting in Nashville. Amanda chose to leave her job and homeschool out of fear for their child's safety. Once Myles was unable to work, they have depended on a very small stipend from worker's disability. Myles being the man he is, used to giving to others, he would hate having to ask for help, but, that's why I am asking for them. Thank you so much for helping. Even if you can't donate, please share. Any little bit helps.
