Hi, my name is Rich Gonzalez, and I lead the sales team at Drunk Elephant. I’m raising funds for a beloved member of our team, Amanda, who joined us in April 2024. I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Amanda, and in just a few short months, she’s become a monumental force in our Drunk Elephant family. Tenacious, kind, and determined, Amanda approaches every challenge with grace, and this year has tested her resilience like never before.

Amanda and her family recently relocated from the Carolinas to Tampa, Florida, for her new role at Drunk Elephant. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks, their lives have been turned upside down by not one but two devastating hurricanes. Hurricane Helen hit Tampa at the end of September, flooding their home and taking most of their personal belongings. Just two weeks later, Hurricane Milton followed, causing additional damage before they had the chance to recover from the first storm.

Despite these tremendous setbacks, Amanda’s unwavering courage is what has kept her and her family going. She has faced family health issues, the loss of a parent, and the responsibility of providing for her husband and children—all while continuing to show up for her team at work.
