On November 14, 2025, my family experienced a tragedy that changed our lives forever. We lost our home and our beloved animals in a devastating fire. My son was asleep on the couch when he woke up to find it engulfed in flames. He acted quickly, grabbing the dogs and running outside to get help. My younger children were at school, and my teenager was outside with her boyfriend. My daughter's boyfriend rushed to wake us up, but the fire spread so fast that the dogs ran back inside, and I couldn't get them out before the flames took over our entire house. In a matter of moments, everything we owned was gone.

I am a single mom of four beautiful kids, and together we watched our whole world go up in flames. We lost not just our possessions, but the place we called home and the comfort it brought us. Right now, my income is going toward paying for temporary housing, and I am doing everything I can to keep my family safe and together. I never ask for help, but this situation is more than I can handle alone. I was told we could rebuild our home, but with only one income, it feels impossible. My children need a home, a place to put up a Christmas tree, and a sense of normalcy after all they've been through.
