I am a mother of five children, and recently my family was forced out of our home because of lead issues and other major concerns. Our landlord is working to fix the problems, but until then, we are in a homeless situation. My husband does what he can to help, but his income only goes so far, and our daily-use car is not in good working condition. This makes it hard to get groceries, take the kids to school, and manage everyday errands.

Right now, we are staying in a small, run-down motel. I have reached out to many organizations for help, but we are still struggling to find a safe place for my children to call home. With any support we receive, we hope to find a reliable van so I can keep being the mother my children need and help us move into a new, safe place for my family.
