Hello! I'm Amanda, I'm 16 years old.

In 2019, at the age of 11, my life changed when I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in the fibula of my left leg. It was years of struggle: chemotherapy sessions and four surgeries to remove tumors that always insisted on coming back in the same place.

Unfortunately, in 2025, I faced the most difficult challenge: the decision to amputate my left leg, the only way to preserve my life.

And even in this situation, I remain very strong, because I need to have the opportunity to continue building my story, for me it has always been very clear...

“I want to live, to have the opportunity to move on with my life.”

Today, my challenge is to have quality of life, to regain my freedom, my independence. To do this, I need your help to get a prosthesis, which will allow me to walk, run, go to school and fulfill my dreams and continue with autonomy.

The cost of this prosthesis is R$180,000(Brazilian currency), a high amount, but it will make all the difference — both physically and emotionally.

Olá! Sou Amanda, tenho 16 anos. Em 2019, aos 11 anos, minha vida mudou quando fui diagnosticada com um osteossarcoma na fíbula da perna esquerda. Foram anos de muita luta: sessões de quimioterapia e quatro cirurgias para retirada de tumores que sempre insistiam em voltar no mesmo local. Infelizmente, em 2025, enfrentei o desafio mais difícil: a decisão pela amputação da perna esquerda, única saída para preservar minha vida. E mesmo diante dessa situação, continuo com muita força, pois preciso ter a oportunidade de continuar construindo a minha história, para mim sempre esteve muito claro... “Eu quero viver, ter a oportunidade de seguir minha vida.” Hoje, meu desafio é poder ter qualidade de vida, retomar minha liberdade, minha independência. Para isso, preciso da sua ajuda para conseguir uma prótese, que permitirá que eu volte a caminhar, correr, ir a escola e realizar meus sonhos e seguir com autonomia. O custo dessa prótese é de R$ 180 mil, um valor alto, mas que irá fazer toda a diferença — tanto física quanto emocional.
