Hi, my name is Deanna, Amanda's mother. I am creating this fundraiser on her behalf. Sadly, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, we received the news that her Father, Jim Vanlue, born 7/7/1969, passed away at 53 years old. His passing was sudden and unexpected. Unfortunately, Amanda is his only daughter and does not have the financial means to pay for the necessary funeral expenses and travel expenses to make her way up to the Redding area, where he resided, to handle the arrangements that need to be made.

Jim had the most beautiful eyes (Amanda inherited them), had a quick wit and a fantastic sense of humor, and was always willing to help others.

Jim did have his struggles and challenges in life; however, through it all, he kept his faith in God. Jim is survived by his daughter Amanda, his mother, Lynn, and stepdaughter Josslyn, all of whom he loved deeply and whose hearts are broken over his passing.
