Help Amanda recover from kidney cancer

Hi my name is Hanna Nicol, and I'm Amanda's co-worker. I'm fundraising to help Amanda with her with her medical bills and also living expenses while she's out on FMLA. Amanda was found to have a tennis ball size cancerous tumor in one of her kidneys. She had surgery to remove her kidney today (2/15/2022) and will have to be out from her work for at least 2 weeks for recovery.

She's a single mom of three beautiful children and currently in the middle of her first semester of nursing school; unfortunately, she doesn't have a lot of paid time off. Even though her medical bills will mostly be paid by her insurance, she still has to pay for the max out of pocket amounts and will have to take unpaid leave if she has any complications or illness from this surgery and cancer. Amanda has been helping so many people around her, she's a beautiful person inside and out. I would hate to see her worry about her finances and not be able to get the rest she needs. I'm sure there are a number of people that feel the same way as I do. I want to help her because I know she would do the same thing for others.
