Help Amanda Set Up Her TK Classroom
Donation protected
Amanda is about to begin her first year as a TK teacher at Taylor Mountain Elementary School, and she’s eager to create a welcoming, inspiring classroom for her students. After five years as a substitute teacher, Amanda has built a reputation for forming strong, caring relationships with her students. She has a special heart for children who face extra challenges, such as learning English for the first time or coming from families with limited resources.
Amanda’s talent for making math fun and accessible, along with her skills as an art teacher, will help her students thrive. Thanks to her background in theater, Amanda is also known for her engaging storytime sessions—her students are in for a treat this year.
With the first day of school on August 14, she’s working hard to get everything ready so her students can start the year with the tools they need to learn and grow. To set her students up for success, Amanda will need to furnish her classroom with things like play equipment, books, art supplies, and educational toys.
Your support will help Amanda create a nurturing and dynamic learning environment for some of Sonoma County’s youngest and most important future leaders. Thank you for supporting our friend who has given so much to our community already, and who is embarking on this exciting new way to live out her personal mission and values.
