Update: All of you amazing people have helped my family past the initial hurdle of saving our home from foreclosure. Many members of my collective community have requested and even insisted that I raise the goal to the payoff amount to secure the property permanently or to provide a window in which to stabilize the situation and not end up back here in a couple of months. Help Us Save Our Home

Hello, my name is Amanda, though many of you know me as Cryptid.I’m writing this because my family is facing something I never imagined having to share publicly. Our home is currently in foreclosure, and we have approximately 30 days to stop the process.

As of July 1, 2026, we need approximately $16,400 to bring our mortgage current and reinstate the loan. Paying off the mortgage entirely would require about $135,000.

Over the past year, my health has declined significantly. Living with hEDS, MCAS, PCOS, and suspected POTS has made it incredibly difficult to work consistently and maintain the income my family depends on. I have spent months doing everything I can to rebuild that income, but progress has been slower than I ever expected.

Asking for help like this is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I know so many people are struggling right now, and I don’t make this request lightly. But after exhausting every option available to us, I realized I couldn’t stay silent and risk losing our home without trying.

If we are able to raise enough to reinstate the mortgage, we will have the chance to keep our home and continue rebuilding our stability. Any funds raised beyond that will go directly toward reducing the mortgage and helping us create a more secure future.

If we are unable to save the home, any funds raised will be used to secure safe housing and help us transition into the next chapter with as much stability as possible.
