Help Amanda Save Arbor's Life
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Amanda, and I have the most amazing dog who is my whole world. She had an accident on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025. I let her out to go potty in the morning, and she must have chased a deer or another animal off our property. I was able to find her collar on the second day, and it was next to loose barbed wire. We believe she got her collar caught and fought to free herself to get home. I found her on Tuesday paralyzed on a neighbor's property. We carried her out over a quarter of a mile to the car to take her to the emergency vet. There, they took X-rays and kept her for observation for 2 days. Her X-rays do not show a break, so she needs an MRI and possible surgery for nerve damage. UF says it will be a minimum of $10,000 for an MRI and basic surgery. I need to get her in to do this immediately. They are scheduling over a month out, so she will need to go in as an emergency patient. Arbor is eating and drinking well. She does not understand why she can't get up and walk. We are massaging and moving her immobile legs, so hopefully, she can keep them if we can get her into UF Emergency Veterinarian College. I have put on her life jacket to help move her. She cries if I am not in the room with her. She is fighting to live, and she is only 6 years old. I need your help to save my baby. Please and thank you.
