Help Amanda replace what was lost in barn fire
Donation protected
Saturday morning 14 year old Amanda went out to the barn to take care of her horse Fizzle and her mini horse Stitch. She saw smoke pouring out from the barn doors and ran inside to find that more than half of the barn was on fire and smoke filled and it was starting to catch in Fizzle’s stall. Even though she could barely breathe or see anything she managed to get Fizzle, Stitch, and herself out of harms way quickly just before the rest of the barn caught fire. She saved the lives of the horses that she loves but the barn and everything in it was a total loss. Insurance should help with the structural loss but not the contents within, which adds up to thousands. All of Amanda’s stuff for the horses, the winter hay, the tractor we need to move round bales, the quad and other things are all gone. Some of what she had was gifted to her and sentimental value as well. She is so happy that her her horses are safe and they are currently staying with amazing friends, but it is still a tremendous loss. Right now we are trying to figure out and situate the absolute necessities for them such as shelter and water and electric for the fence. Amanda would appreciate anything at all to help start over. Even if it’s a horse item instead of money it would be something and would mean so much to her and the rest of her family and her horses.
