I have been facing serious health issues since May 2025, starting with an infection in my big toe. As a diabetic, I have been under the care of a podiatrist for several months, taking oral antibiotics to try to resolve the issue. Medical bills began piling up, and due to the infection and swelling in my foot, I was unable to work as much as I needed to. In late August, I was put on a PICC line with antibiotics at home, but after three weeks, I had a reaction called red man syndrome, so the doctor had to remove the PICC line. I went back on oral antibiotics and learned that I had poor blood flow in my leg. A vascular surgeon performed a bypass to restore blood flow, but the infection moved to my next toe, which became so severe that it had to be amputated in January 2026. After a few weeks, my podiatrist admitted me to the hospital on 02/11/2026, and I was released home on 02/20/2026. My vacation time and any paid time off have been depleted, and my bills are snowballing, including my rent. I came home with another PICC line (with different antibiotics) and a wound vac from my surgery at the amputation site. As a single person, I depend on myself for all my bills, and it could be several weeks before I can return to work. I am just trying not to lose everything I have worked for during this difficult time. I hate reaching out like this for help, but I think it's my only option.

The funds raised will be used toward my rent, electric bill, and basic living expenses while I recover and am unable to work. This support will help me keep my home and cover essential costs until I am able to return to work.
