Help Amanda Rebuild Her Salon After a Devastating Fire
Donation protected
On January 24, 2025, a devastating fire completely destroyed the Forum building in Grand Haven, MI. This building was home to several businesses. One of them was Suite 2one2. Amanda Flannery, owner of this salon, lost everything in this tragic event.
This building was filled with mostly woman-owned, small businesses such as hair, skin care, nails, massage, energy healing, yoga, counseling, etc. It was a small community of mind, body, and soul care-based practitioners and a space for healing of all kinds.
Amanda has been a hair stylist for 13 years and finally settled into the Forum building just 3 years ago. She created a unique space where she tended to each person as a whole, not just a head of hair. She lights up the room with her beautiful smile and calm demeanor. She decorated her salon with fun art, plants, and crystals and made it not only inviting, but a place where you could let go of anything bothering you.
Oftentimes you could find her companion dog, Lucky who delighted in hanging out at work with his mom. She was also fortunate enough to be surrounded by friends and companions with their own businesses down the hall. Amanda is a kind, thoughtful, caring person and exceptional friend. We want to do what we can to make this transition as smooth as possible for her.
Rebuilding will not be easy. Many of the items she lost were ones she'd owned for many years and are irreplaceable. Your donation will be used to purchase new equipment, furniture, products and other supplies, as well as to help Amanda to find and establish a new space.
Your donation of any size makes a difference!
If you cannot donate at this time, please consider sharing this campaign to spread the word.
Amanda is immensely grateful for the outpouring of love and care from the community. Let's help her get back on her feet after this tragedy! Thank you.
