Help Amanda Fight Breast Cancer While Preparing for Her Baby Girl
Just a few weeks ago, Amanda's life turned upside down.
Amanda is a proud mom to two boys, a 12-year-old and an 8-month-old, and she’s expecting a baby girl in April. What should have been a season of preparing for her daughter’s arrival quickly became a blur of doctor visits, scans, and tough news.
In the span of just three weeks, Amanda went from finding a lump to being diagnosed with breast cancer, meeting with surgeons and oncologists, and learning she will need a mastectomy followed by chemotherapy starting in November, all while pregnant.
Amanda had recently been offered two jobs that would have helped her family get back on solid footing, but she has had to turn them down so she can recover from surgery and focus on her treatment. With a new baby on the way, this has created a serious financial strain on top of an already overwhelming time.
Amanda is strong, but she cannot do this alone. Between medical appointments, childcare, and preparing for her baby, she needs help keeping up with daily expenses such as rent, groceries, gas for treatment trips, and baby supplies when her daughter arrives.
Think of it this way:
- $25 covers a week of gas for treatments
- $50 buys diapers and formula for the baby
- $100 helps pay for rent during recovery
If you can give, please do. Every dollar helps Amanda keep her home stable, her boys cared for, and her focus on healing and welcoming her new baby girl. If nothing else, please share this with your network.
Thank you for showing up for her in this moment.
