Help Amanda Pearce rebuild her life

Hi guys, my name is Adrian Garcia and an admin of this amazing group

Amanda Pearce is a fellow single parent and in desperate need for assistance.

Amanda an active smads member, experienced the absolute worst and lowest day of her life. She is from Woodburn, northern NSW.

Monday morning half a metre of water surrounded their house . They were then told to EVACUATE and not to waste time, get out NOW or it would be too late.

Amanda start panicking as any one of us would.

She ran to the kids rooms and yells “THIS IS NOT A DRILL … GET UP, PACK CLOTHES AND WHAT YOU CAN FIT IN THIS BAG WE ARE OUT IN 10MINS … MOVE IT NOW!!”

She grabs her bag and their birth certificates, wade through knee deep water and get in the car and drive away.

By Tuesday afternoon her house is fully submerged, Roof and all.

They lost everything but the clothes on their back and one of her cars.

Their whole town is gone, every house and business lost. Major flood level is 4.2m and currently sitting at 7.5m and rising still.

Amanda is shattered and heartbroken.

No insurance and everything has to be replaced.

Amanda is far from a failure, a hero infact for keeping her family safe. Let's do our best and help rebuild her life. Any contribution, small or large is greatly welcomed and appreciated.
