Amanda suffered head trauma after being in a motor vehicle accident on July 13th shortly after 8pm. She was driving her Kia Optima when she was struck on the passenger side by a Chevy Tahoe that was going 60 mph. She had a green light, and the Tahoe had a red light. As imagined, she never saw it coming and didn’t get the chance to avoid it. Her Kia rolled and she had to be extracted from the car. She was transported to the hospital in Watford City where they discovered a brain bleed, she suffered a seizure, and became unresponsive. She was life flighted to Trinity Hospital in Minot so they could give her proper neurological care. The bleeding was stopped and she was put into a coma to allow healing. She is currently under medical sedation to allow for healing, not a comatose state. During this time she is obviously not able to work, and is accumulating a large medical bill. Anything that you can donate to aid in her terrifying journey is appreciated on a grand scale.
