My name is Amanda Lucas, and this is my 11th year working on this grassroots effort to help local kids who may not be able to celebrate this holiday season without help from strangers.

This year as so many are losing their snap benefits, it’s going to be even harder!

What started as a mission to help one girl in my daughter’s first-grade class has resulted in hundreds of kids and families having something over the holidays to make them feel special. Every child deserves something.

We have grown and expanded, and this will be our third year also helping students in LSC as well.
