Help Amanda Keep Her Home and Sustain Her Family

Hi, my name is Grace, and I am reaching out to you for help on behalf of my dear friend Amanda.

We've been friends since we were 16, and over the years I have seen firsthand her unwavering dedication and love for her family. Amanda is a devoted mother of three children, aged 13, 9, and an infant under 1 year old.

Recently, Amanda made the courageous decision to leave an abusive marriage to protect her children and herself. Her youngest, a 7-month-old baby girl, has severe reflux and a gag reflex disorder due to amniotic fluid in her lungs at birth. This condition requires Amanda's constant care, as the baby can only be breastfed and needs round-the-clock attention.

Amanda's ex-husband has followed through on his threat to financially abandon her and their children if she should leave. He was financially irresponsible during their marriage, missing mortgage payments, lying about it, and damaging their credit. Now, Amanda is left to face the consequences of his actions. Despite her relentless efforts to find ways to provide for her children, including tending to a garden to produce food, she is unable to work outside of the home due to her infant's needs.

This garden is not just a hobby; it is a lifeline for Amanda and her children. It provides them with the fresh produce they need to survive in the absence of any other income. Losing their home would mean losing their primary source of sustenance and stability.

Amanda has reached out to every available resource, but yesterday the bank gave her until July 16th, less than two weeks to pay $5,000 or face foreclosure. She and her children risk losing their home and the garden that sustains them.

My goal is to raise $5,000 to help Amanda pay the lump sum required to keep her home. Any additional funds will go towards supporting her legal battle for child support and securing a stable future for her children.
