My daughter-in-law, Amanda, was in a terrible car accident 5 days ago that shattered her ankle, tibia, and fibula. Her surgery is tomorrow, and then she is looking at 8 weeks of recovery. She is also 6 months pregnant with their first child, so her pain medications are limited. They run a small electrical business, of which she is the main day-to-day operations manager.

Amanda is always looking out for everyone and donating time and resources to others. They recently purchased sandbags and helped stack them when neighbors were inundated by floodwaters.
