My name is Amanda Hussey and I’m a mom to 3 beautiful girls. On December 1st, my world shifted in a way I never expected. I suffered a stroke that sent me to the ICU for two days, and life has felt very different ever since. I came home with a walker, facing weakness, numbness, and limitations on my entire left side. I can’t drive, I can’t work, and even simple daily tasks now take all the strength I have. I’m doing physical and occupational therapy here at home, trusting that each small step forward is part of God’s healing work in me.

My doctors expect that I’ll be out of work for at least three months while I focus on recovery. Even though I receive short-term disability, it only covers part of my income and doesn’t start right away. With medical bills, therapy costs, and everyday living expenses piling up, this season has been incredibly overwhelming — physically, emotionally, and financially.

I’ve always believed that God never leaves us in the valley alone. In the middle of fear, uncertainty, and exhaustion, I’m holding tight to my faith and the strength He promises when we have none left of our own. Creating this GoFundMe isn’t easy for me, but I’m trusting that God sometimes provides through the hands and hearts of others.
