I never imagined I would be in a place where I’d need to ask for help like this, but here I am, choosing humility and hope. In 2022, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Since then, my body hasn’t functioned the way it used to, and it has changed so much of my daily life. In the middle of that, I made a decision. If my body has limits, I still want to build a future where I can provide for my family in a meaningful way. That’s what led me back to school to finish my bachelor’s degree in psychology, with the goal of becoming a clinical counselor. This past week, I found out unexpectedly that my next semester—and another one next year—will not be covered by financial aid or student loans. My husband and I do contribute toward my tuition ourselves and have been doing everything we can to carry this financially. However, we are not able to cover the full amount on our own for this upcoming semester. To continue my education, I now have to come up with tuition or set up a payment plan very quickly. I’m asking for help to cover this next semester so I can stay on track and keep moving toward this goal. Every bit of support, whether it’s giving or simply sharing, truly means more than I can put into words. This journey hasn’t been easy, but I trust that God will provide in the ways He always does. I’m taking this one step at a time, focusing on what’s right in front of me (Matthew 6:34). Thank you for taking the time to read this, for your prayers, and for any support you feel led to give. It genuinely makes a difference for me and my family.
