Help Amanda Combat Leukemia

Dear friends and community,

We are humbly reaching out to ask for your support of Amanda Montero in her battle against cancer. Amanda is a 48-year-old mother of two girls and wife of WPBFD Battalion Chief Joey Montero. Amanda was recently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic (ALL) leukemia. Amanda has been undergoing treatment at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center since her diagnosis in April. Her treatment is estimated to take 6 to 8 months.

This family has been through so much already, and we want to help ease their financial burden. The loss of income due to her inability to work during this time is overwhelming, and we want to help this family focus on what matters most - getting well.

That's why we have started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the living expenses and other costs associated with her treatment. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in her fight against cancer.
