Hi! I am raising money for Amanda Burris and her family for various expenses (medical bills, travel expenses, etc.) that will be incurred during Amanda's expected long battle. On Wednesday June 9, 2021 Amanda became unresponsive and was rushed to Tennova. They determined that a flesh eating bacteria had invaded Amanda's system. She has now been transferred to UT and is in ICU. She has underwent several surgeries since being admitted. Each doctor that has treated her has told the family that Amanda is in for a long battle. She is such a FIGHTER!!

This family has been there for so many people in their time of need and I have racked my brain trying to think of a way to help them. In these times of a pandemic, where the hospitals are not allowing visitors, it makes it a little harder to know how to help them. We can't go visit...can't deliver food (as all good southerners like to do in troubled times...lol) So the only thing I have came up with is to start a fundraiser to help them with the days ahead.
