Hello, this is my story which I didn't know how to go about. In the last 6 years, I have been having trouble breathing through my nose, which has caused me to have shortness of breath, not being able to breathe in my sleep at times, and tenderness on my nose.

Due to full-time jobs / insurances in the past there was constant change within my doctors/insurances which always caused me to not get this fixed sooner . So being with an established primary doctor now, I was able to get checked in December 2025 regarding my breathing. In Jan 2026 , the primary care doctor sent me with an ENT doctor who reevaluated my nose, and said I would need to have a surgery done in order to fix the breathing completely.

The diagnoses I was given from my doctor is having a severe deviated septum causing my right nostril to be almost closed off which is the reason I have trouble breathing through my nose and the tenderness within the nose .

With me only working part-time right now , my insurance is only covering half of the surgery which is scheduled for May 1st. Asking for help is something I don't like to do at all , but since the surgery date will be here before you know it , and working part time/ having the remaining balance due is something I know that is going to be hard to achieve all by myself .
