Our names are Amanda and Mark, our beautiful daughter was due January 23 2025, however October 13 2024 just after midnight my water unexpectedly broke at 25 weeks. We rushed to the hospital and where so hopeful that they could keep her Inside. After hours of strong painful contractions and slight bleeding, I had a complete Placental abruption. At 5:10pm my beautiful Charlotte Rose was born encaul (still inside her broken water bag) with her placenta. Charlotte and I both lost alot of blood. She didn't cry and they struggled for a little while but got her intubated. Things where looking great for the first 9 days i even got to hold her, then suddenly her stomach started to swell, they did bloodwork and where waiting for results they suspectedshe was septic, in that time her kidneys shut down , her ph went way down and her co2 rose above levels compatible with life. We had the doctors do everything they could, but the blood infection was to severe. Her body was failing. Then at 10:02pm life support was removed and at 10:12pm Charlotte Rose passed peacefully in my (mom) arms. She was no longer struggling, she fought so hard and is now at peace. We love you Charlotte, you will be my reason for everything thank you for blessing me with what time I had with you. Every kick ,every memory I will forever cherish
