I'm Amanda, and I'm a 30-year-old single mom to two wonderful kids, ages 8 and 5. Recently, I received some tough news: I've been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and am scheduled for surgery on September 9th. As you can imagine, this has brought a lot of unexpected challenges.
