Help Amanda and Adam Bring Baby Bastow Home
Donation protected
After seeing the outpouring of love from so many people, I wanted to create something to help bless Amanda and Adam. It truly means so much seeing so many people surround them with so much love and support. To a lot of people, their grief is invisible. Life just continues on because we don’t visibly see what they have lost. The loss of their embabies, vision of their future family, the loss of what their family could and should look like, and the loss of nearly $100,000. We should all be inspired by the hope they cling to and the strength they continually carry to move forward with such a daunting process. Seeing so many loving people share their story, I see now that so many people would love to support and come together to help bless these two.
As an update to their post, they found what they feel is the perfect fit! How amazing! With that, there comes a significant financial cost. ($100,000-ish, per babe). That’s no surprise, and they’re willing to do whatever it takes. But let’s be honest, nobody has a money tree. I’m not creating this to beg, borrow, or steal. But I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t taken a financial toll on them. While some cannot understand why someone would/could take a loan out for a baby, those same people are tucking their babies into bed, safely at night. Many people question why not adoption? Not to say that won’t ever be an option, but the priority is their two perfectly, healthy, sweet embryos and giving them a chance to meet their momma and daddy earthside. And just like surrogacy and IVF, adoption comes with significant cost.
As two people with the cards stacked against them, let’s rally around them and bring baby Bastow(s) home! Let’s show them the power of their family, friends, neighbors, and community by donating, sharing, praying, and supporting them! They are so, so deserving. And whatever is raised here will go toward bringing one or both babies home!
