Help Amanda after a terrible animal attack

Nobody likes to ask for help. I wasn’t going to do this but I see a friend who really needs help, so here it is. Amanda has a big heart. She’s an animal lover and is caring and patient with all the animals in her care. She’s a good person. On July 9th Amanda was doing her job at an animal attraction and was attacked by a Zebu (a large horned humped cattle). It trampled her several times, attempted to gore her with its horns, and threw her up in the air multiple times! She fought for her like for several minutes until another employee heard her screams and came to her rescue.  Amanda was mercy flighted to ECMC where she was diagnosed with several broken ribs, a broken back, and bruising over most of her body. She was there several days and returned home to stay with family since she was in such bad shape. A few days later she returned to the hospital where they told her she had fluid in her chest (and were worried about her lung collapsing) and injuries to her pancreas which caused diabetes. She was again admitted to the hospital where she underwent surgery on her lung and a chest tube was put in. Several days later she was discharged and sent home to recover. She can not work, drive, take care of her kids or animals and needs a lot of help at home.  Amanda is really struggling financially. Besides her full time job working with exotics, she also owns a pet groom spa. She’s not able to groom dogs  (possibly not ever again) and may be forced to sell her business on top of everything else. There have been issues with her employer and worker’s comp and she may lose her house if she can’t pay her bills which are piling up.  Amanda is a single mom of two young kids and gets little assistance as it is. Please help if you can. Not only would you be helping her financially with the present and unknown future but you’d also be easing her mind. She needs to focus on healing and whats next for her now that her life may be severely altered. Please share. Every little bit helps!
