Amalia is not only our beloved coworker—she’s the kind of person who leaves a lasting impression on everyone she meets. Whether it’s staying late to comfort a worried patient or jumping in to help a teammate without hesitation, Amalia has always gone above and beyond with kindness, dedication, and compassion.

Now, it's our turn to be there for her.

A devoted wife and proud mom to two amazing teenagers (ages 12 and 13), Amalia has been courageously building a new life in Spain after moving from Bolivia with her family. She’s been a shining example of resilience, hard work, and heart.

But recently, her world was turned upside down.

After experiencing significant hip and pelvic pain, Amalia received the devastating diagnosis of advanced cervical cancer. Because the cancer is more progressed, surgery is not an option. She now faces an intense treatment plan of daily radiotherapy for 2 + months, combined with weekly chemotherapy sessions.

Despite this overwhelming challenge, Amalia continues to show up for others with a brave face and an unbreakable spirit. But behind the scenes, the emotional and financial toll is immense.

Cancer treatment is not just physically exhausting—it’s incredibly expensive. With mounting medical costs, limited ability to work, and the responsibility of caring for a young family, the road ahead is daunting.

This is where we come in.
