He Carried Gaza’s Children Through Rubble. Now His Wife Carries Everything Alone.
"He died saving other people’s children. Now I have to fight to save ours." — Amal
This is not just a fundraiser.
This is a lifeline for Amal and her four children—left alone in a world where dozens die each day just seeking food, water, or shelter.
You’ve seen his face .
Hussain, the paramedic sprinting through rubble with a wounded child in each arm. That image became a symbol of humanity in Gaza.
What you didn’t see was what came after.
Behind the headlines, Hussain was the backbone of two families:
- His wife Amal, their four children
- His extended family, and Amal’s extended family too
He worked endlessly treating the injured, comforting the terrified, risking his life daily. Until one day, while responding to a call near a rescue zone, he was killed in an aerial bombardment.
Now Amal and her family are completely alone.
No husband. No home. No income. No protection. Just her children—and her will to keep them alive.
Their home was flattened in a strike. Their son was injured in an air raid, pulled from rubble with damage that left him unable to walk. He now needs a prosthetic and mobility bike to begin his recovery.
They live in a tent. They flee from one bombardment to the next. They live day-to-day. Meal-to-meal. Hope-to-hope.
Who they are:
They are not politicians.
They are not affiliated with any group.
They are just people—a mother and father who lived to help others.
Amal worked as a carer for the elderly and in rehabilitation.
Hussain was a frontline paramedic.
They provided hope. They provided humanity. They served with love and courage.

This isn’t just about money. It’s about refusing to scroll past.
It’s about telling Amal and her children:
“I see you. I care. You’re not forgotten.”
The world has turned away. Let us be the ones who don't.
Who I am, Why I’m Helping
I’m Dr. Khaled Abokarsh, a close family friend of Amal’s. I’ve known the family for years, and I’m organizing this campaign to ensure Amal and her children receive the help they urgently need. I refuse to turn my back on those who have been forgotten.
How You Can Help:
- Donate—even a small amount makes a real difference
- Share this link with just one person
- Post on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram—anywhere people scroll
- Do not turn your back
Let Hussain’s legacy live on—not just in headlines, but in our hands.
Thank you for standing with Amal. Thank you for giving hope.
