Help Amahl obtain a professional calibre cello

My name is Amahl and I am a professional cellist living and working(mostly) in Toronto. My performance career has steadily been growing both with my cello duo, VC2, and as an in-demand soloist, chamber musician

and New Music specialist. In addition to VC2, I can be found regularly performing with groups like New Music Concerts, Array Ensemble, Tapestry Opera, the Venuti String Quartet, Thin Edge New Music Collective and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. I also plan to record and release a solo album within the next 2-2.5 years.

My current instrument simply does not serve me well; it lacks the depth of sound, power, and (perhaps most importantly) the necessary stability to withstand the demands I put on it. This has proven to be an increasingly difficult struggle as I now constantly feel as if I'm fighting against my instrument whenever I play it.

I have found a beautiful modern cello for sale in Toronto at a price of $60000 CDN. While this seems like a lot, it is unfortunately an average price for a professional quality cello of its calibre. I can trade in my current instrument for $25000 towards the cost and am seeking financial help to put a downpayment of $10-12000 on top of this. This instrument would be crucial in helping me further advance my performing career, as it would be able to keep up with the fine instruments owned by the friends and colleagues I perform with and provide me with the stability, depth and range of sound I need at this point in my career.
