Help Ama’Gees build their restaurant!

Blessings everyone! We are Giddeon and Honey Bee, and we are working to open a Jamaican Restaurant to fill the need of one in our neighborhood. We migrated from Jamaica seeking greener pastures but were faced with many trials and tribulations. Through our hard work and determination, and with the help of good people, we have survived and are very grateful for our benefactors. We have been selling plates out of our kitchen for years. Our house was broken into , they kicked in our doors and stole from us setting us back significantly. We worked hard until we acquired a foodtruck. We diligently worked to make ends meet and take care of our family. During this time our family lost a son and brother in Jamaica to murder right after his papers were set to come through so he could come here to the United States. Right after Covid 19 hit another hit to our finances as we had to close for months like many other businesses. We have had numerous issues with our truck since then, which has had us unable to work various times, preventing a continuous flow of income. When the winter season comes around, our income decreases significantly as many people do not want to brave the cold to come out to the food truck. We believe that having a brick and mortar will help us realize our dream of having a restaurant and being able to take care of ourselves and our family! This is where you our community, family and friends come in! The funds will be used to finish what we started before we ran out of money. We will finish the exhaust system, the HVAC system grease trap , electrical and carpentry work needed to get us operational. We need your help!!
